That watermark doesn't do the image much justice.

I think the chip foldover looks very cool. But I still like the portrait style logos.

I really like the landscape stickers and the folder is a nice touch for the nerdish inclinded.

They should go all out and have holographic stickers, I might leave mine on then!

Then again, im a sucker for holograms

Meh, it's ok. I wouldn't expect less from a multi-billion dollar company that can afford some of the best designers in the world, so it's ok.

did they design this for the sole purpose of confusing people? or maybe they just got bored?
why can't they just use 3, centrino, core 2(xe), i7(xe) for the consumer line.
hope intel is not learning from nvidia.

Where are the Pentium, Celeron, and Atom redesigns? And no sticker for upcoming laptop Nehalems? Will they be the same as the Centrino 2 sticker, but with a 3?

Yellow chip background's gonna be mighty ugly when they stick it on an actual laptop.

Yeah I have to agree with you there. I don't see it as looking very good when it's actually on a notebook...
Then again, this little picture probably isn't doing it justice so who knows.

I tend to just take off those stickers anyway.

I think I like the Xeon/Itanium/Core 2 ViiV ones best.

And I have to agree with Spare Tire. There's also the fact that it looks like they'll take up more space - now Microsoft, nVIDIA, and ATI will have to make theirs bigger or it'll look like the processor is the most important part of the laptop, not the OS or GPU! Pretty soon we'll have a biggest sticker race and you won't even be able to fit all the stickers on a netbook!

(okay, some exaggeration, but it will take up more space)

I like the desktop core i7 style stickers. AMD's newer stickers are pretty good looking too.

they are good performer for the money, i heard only good things about the phenom II X3 720 BE. but yes, i7 destroys everything in terms of pure performance.

I don't like the new design - I prefer the old one.

But then I like the "old" design on my SZ - there is nothing stylish about it... so...

I thought those stickers were "statements" as to what is inside, not a "fashion statement"...

i love stickers ... for taking them off my new hardware and dropping them into the trash can.

.. i hate stickers on my notebook, or my desktop, or everywhere else.
